If you know us as VA MOMENTS - but not as Val and Alan, this post is dedicated to you☺️

We double as a married couple and business partners which can get a little crazy, but we love it. We’ve been married for 3 years and together for 6. Currently our only child is our 2 year-old maltipoo, she’s a ball of energy that keeps us on our toes everyday. She makes an appearance at special shoots here and there, and lots of you love her.

We double as a married couple and business partners which can get a little crazy, but we love it. We’ve been married for 3 years and together for 6. Currently our only child is our 2 year-old maltipoo, she’s a ball of energy that keeps us on our toes everyday. She makes an appearance at special shoots here and there, and lots of you love her.

Since we’re a team of 2, we like to think there’s some special pros of working with us:

- During regular sessions, we split our task focus and get through our shot list smoother and quicker

- For families or large groups we’re able to split the group and work separately for different shots, especially with kids!

- For events and weddings, the second-shooter part is already factored into our packages!

- For weddings we can split and be covering two places/occasions at once (i.e getting ready photos)

- Our styles and techniques differ at times, so we’re always open to switching things up

- And of course, you don’t just get one new bestie- you get TWO 😎

Who doesn’t love a big celebration? But sometimes the smallest details and unplanned moments that no one else sees are what you cherish most. Our job is to be there during those small moments to make sure they’re saved forever!

Don’t get us wrong - we will always have a shot list prepared for your shoot, but our favorite scenario is when you get into your own little conversations and pretend like we’re not even there! Make it a date, catch up, cuddle- we’ll just snap away 🥹

1- Tell the groomsmen to hype up the groom as if they’re at a football game cheering on their favorite team
2- Have the groomsmen carry the groom like he’s the team coach after a big win
3- Have everyone stand in a line and walk towards the camera, tell them to pretend they’re on a runway - (this one will get lots of natural laughs)
4- Play music and tell them to freestyle it - rapping or dancing, anything counts!
5- Have the group do a “cheers” moment and let them do their thing, pregame style
